Designed by architect Nick Sonder, each of the four bedrooms are spacious with one designed as a kid’s sleepover dream with bunks and trundle beds that conspire to create a world of imagination. The 3,250-square-foot floorplan features a double-sided fireplace that radiates to both the dining room and living room. Floors are hickory hardwood, the exterior is clear cedar, amenities are state-of-the-art and the use of windows and space brings you face-to-face with nature. All of which tempts you to throw on the walking shoes and take to The Camp.
If you encounter frequent bouts of antsy feet, take solace — a short stroll beyond the back porch is Martis Camp’s supporting cast: the Family Barn, Concert Lake, 18-hole putting park and sports fields. A five iron away is the Tom Fazio masterpiece that’s challenged golf writers to expand their arsenal of hyperbole. Martis Camp’s centerpiece — The Camp Lodge — is an easy amble from this home as well.
